That includes Ngongotahā, Lynmore, Springfield, Fairy Springs, Ōwhata, Holdens Bay, Lake Tarawera, Lake Rotoiti, and surrounding areas. We can deliver to your boundary or, for an additional fee, place the spa directly in position — including crane lifts for difficult access.
Rotorua’s geothermal soil conditions are worth being aware of when planning your spa pool placement — particularly for below-ground or partially embedded installations. For standard above-ground installations on a solid pad or deck, there’s generally no issue. We recommend consulting a local builder if you’re unsure about your site, and we’re happy to advise on placement options during the purchase process.

In most cases, no. A free-standing residential spa pool that isn’t permanently plumbed into the home doesn’t typically require building consent. However, fencing requirements under NZ law apply if children under 5 are present or could access the spa — and that fencing may need consent from Rotorua Lakes Council. We always recommend checking directly with council before installation.
